Workshops and Tutorials

We invite scholars to submit their proposal for workshops and tutorials during the conference. Please send your proposal to by September 30, 2013. Presenters of workshops and tutorials will be required to register for the conference.


What is a Workshop?

A workshop is a 75-90 minute long session conducted by a  scholar in which he/she will engage participants on any issue of management or technology that can help the become better teachers and researchers. For example, a workshop could be on how to effectively use cases for teaching, how to publish in journals, how to write a research proposal, How to do design online courses, etc.


What is a Tutorial?

A tutorial is a 75-90 minute long session conducted by a scholars in which he/she will provide latest knowledge and information on a cutting edge topic in his/her research area. The benefit to the participants will be that they will take up new knowledge not ordinarily found in standard textbooks. Some of the previously conducted tutorials are: Modeling approaches for the multistage warehouse location problem, benchmarking using DEA, Structural equation modeling, Petri Nets, etc.
