AIMS-IBA Best Paper Competition

The award selection committee of AIMS International will select the three best papers from those submitted for presentation at the conference. The committee, at its discretion, may recommend additional papers for consolation prizes. Interested individuals must agree to present their paper in-person at the conference (in-absentia papers are not eligible) and receive award in ceremony.

The award winners will receive a certificate/plaque and a cash prize (Rs. 20,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,000). These awards are sponsored by Indus Business Academy located in Bangalore and Greater Noida.

The award winning papers will be fast tracked for publication in the AIMS International Journal of Management. The committee may choose not to recommend all three awards. Please submit your paper by November 15, 2013 to the conference general chair. Papers submitted by this date for the conference proceedings publication will be automatically considered. No late submission will be accepted under any circumstances.

Please submit your paper and send your inquiries to: aims11@aims-international.org

Frequently Asked Questions:

I have already sent my paper for the conference proceedings. Do I need to send it separately to the Awards Committee in case I want my paper to be considered for an award?

  • YES. Otherwise, it will not be considered for an award.

Is it necessary for me (or one of my coauthors) to come to the conference and present the paper? Do I need to register for the conference?

  • YES. If paper is not presented at the conference, it will not be eligible for award. Everyone attending the conference must register.

I am also submitting my paper for the doctoral student paper competition. Can I also submit it for a 'best paper award'?

  • No. A paper can participate in only one of the two categories of awards, not both. Sorry!

What will be the amount of cash award?

  • The awards will be of Rs. 20,000, Rs. 10,000, and Rs. 5,000, respectively for the first, second and third award. The consolation awards, if any, will receive Rs. 1,000 each. We however reserve the right to adjust the amount of awards.

We are two authors. Do both authors need to come and present the paper?

  • No. Only one author can do the presentation.

If we get an award, does each coauthor receive a separate certificate?

  • Yes, only if other authors are registered.

How about the cash award?

  • In case of coauthors, it will be divided equally among coauthors.

Are their any other awards other than the Best Paper Awards?
