Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru
Engineering College, Nagpur was incorporated in 1984 as a small
private engineering college. Since then till now it has been a
sojourn of 25 years of academic development and striving
excellence. A quarter of a century saw some of the brightest
minds being shaped by equally bright and dedicated faculty
members. A small sapling planted in 1984 has now grown into a
big tree with varied but strong branches giving out the radiance
of knowledge and wisdom. The college today has been rated
amongst the top 50 private engineering colleges in the country
vis-à-vis a survey conducted by a magazine of National repute.
In the next five years the college aims to break in to the top
10 private institutes of the country through continued
dedication to the cause of knowledge dissemination.
SRKNEC combines a world class
infrastructure built upon the greatest faculty strength combined
with a picturesque environment to chisel the finest minds into
the most capable future generations of India. It is spread in a
sprawling campus of 20 acres on a hill in the city situated at a
distance of 5 kms from the city’s nerve centers. The USP of the
location is the serenity of the campus coupled with its location
within the city. It houses the latest state of the art
infrastructure and well equipped laboratories to groom the
students. The college has on-campus hostel facility for boys and
girls which are wired to make the Internet available to the
hostellers. The hostels are further equipped with a TV room, a
reading room, gymnasium and other sports facilities to groom the
overall personalities of the students.
