What is a Workshop? A workshop is a 75-90 minute long session conducted by a  scholar in which he/she will engage participants on any issue of management or technology that can help them become better teachers and researchers. For example, a workshop could be on how to effectively use cases for teaching, how to publish in journals, how to write a research proposal, how to do design online courses, etc.

What is a Tutorial? A tutorial is a 75-90 minute long session conducted by a scholar in which he/she will provide latest knowledge and information on a cutting edge topic in his/her research area. The benefit to the participants will be that they will take up new knowledge not ordinarily found in standard textbooks. Some of the previously conducted tutorials are: Modeling approaches for the multistage warehouse location problem, benchmarking using DEA, Structural equation modeling, Petri Nets, etc.
